as cozy as two bugs in a rug...

It’s official! Parker and Chelsey DeMille have entered the blog-o-sphere. Is it so silly that I’m a little nervous to make this first post??? A little bit…yes. So much has happened in the past couple weeks that it is absolutely overwhelming to think of covering it all. So guess what—you are all in luck!

For anyone who read our novel of a wedding blog, these posts will be simple, sweet, and to the point. I’ve decided it’s is healthy for Parker and I to escape our self-imposed pressures of perfection every now and again…I’m growing up, I know. J

FYI: In keeping with this attempt to sidestep some Type-A tendencies, I’m making a promise. This account of our lives will be the real deal. Not every post will be a sap session about our PERFECT little newlywed existence because you know, and I know, that these first days are often far from perfect (GASP!!!!!!! i know...came as a shock to me too). I think it will make for some fun reading though. Get ready for the good, bad, happy, sad, embarrassing, and hopefully hilarious. Just our REAL life!

And as for life—here’s the latest!

We are MARRIED! Yes married! Can you believe it??? For a whole week-and-a-half now. So crazy! I love my Parker to pieces and honestly couldn’t be happier with the way my life’s begun to play out. We’re cozier than two little bugs in a rug (get it??? J thanks Kristy!). These past few weeks have been a whirlwind of parties, plans, and flying purple-people-eaters—my bridesmaids nearly took flight with all the wind outside the temple! We’ve had one adventure after another and made more sweet memories than I could have hoped for. I cannot wait to share them with all of you!

First stop: HAWAII!!!

Wedding pics will come as soon as I get my grubby little hands on ‘em…just you wait. In the meantime, enjoy our piece of paradise!

Photo compliments of my cute new husband who is currently painting and distressing the wooden frame for our kitchen magnet board as I write our "beedin" blog. My tuff little monster has more creative vision than I could ever hope for. Gotta love him!

**Disclaimer:**

My bridesmaid were beautiful little purple posies and do not really eat people…just cute boys!

Om nom nom…LOL.

You are so cute and I am so happy for you! I agree with Alex, sometimes I think that we all think that we should sugar coat everything that goes on in our lives. But really, it is not secret life just isn't perfect!
    I love you!
